How Long We Keep Your Data

Different types of data have different retention periods based on their purpose and legal requirements.

Active Account Data

While your account is active, we retain:

  • Your profile and account information — for the duration of your account
  • Conversation history — up to 12 months by default (adjustable in settings)
  • Memory data — retained indefinitely until you delete it
  • Usage logs — 90 days for operational purposes

After Account Deletion

When you delete your account, the following occurs:

  • Profile and personal information — deleted within 7 days
  • Conversation history — deleted within 30 days
  • Memory data — deleted within 7 days
  • Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
  • Anonymized usage statistics — may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked back to you

Automatic Cleanup

Certain data is automatically cleaned up on a rolling basis:

  • Voice session recordings — deleted immediately after transcription (we do not store raw audio)
  • Temporary session tokens — expire after 24 hours
  • Rate limiting records — purged after 15 minutes

Requesting Early Deletion

You can request deletion of specific data types at any time through Settings or by contacting privacy@bronsik.com. We will process all requests within 30 days.
